ONCE again the people of Tavistock have been most generous in supporting the Christmas post organised by local members of Girlguiding. Thank you very much.
Over 7,200 cards were delivered by girls and leaders during the weekend of December 20-21, and even those tricky queries such as cards wrongly addressed or ?now moved house? were sorted out before lunchtime on the 22nd.
We regret we were, however, unable to deliver the card posted in our box for Denmark! ? our service only covers Tavistock town and Whitchurch.
Our thanks to all who bought stamps, to the shops who sold them and hosted postboxes, and to the members of Girlguiding Tavistock who gave time at this busy season to be of service to the community.
