OKEHAMPTON travelled to league leaders Cullompton on Saturday.
An entertaining game followed with a fast outfield and poor deliveries were punished.
There were good knocks for Okehampton from Nick Goodchild (31), John Tidball (49) and support by James Norton (23) to bring their total to 184 after 46 overs.
Cullompton used eight bowlers with Anning having good figures of 3-14 after five overs.
When Okehampton took to the field after tea they got an early breakthrough when Nick Goodchild took a good catch off Andy Mortimore's bowling to dismiss Elliott for one run.
With the score on 53 Andy Mortimore took his second wicket when he bowled D Reeby for 17 runs.
But there came a stand of 94 between Vaughan and Anning before the latter was out for 46 with the total on 147 for three wickets.
Cullompton went on to gain victory by 7 wickets with Vaughan seeing a good 102 not out.
