A PETITION of 1,816 signatures to save Meadowlands Swimming Pool in Tavistock was formally presented to the Mayor of West Devon, Christine Marsh, last week at a meeting of West Devon Borough Council. Twenty-five people arrived at the offices at Kilworthy Park with demonstration banners made by children who use the pool. They included member of the pool user committee Jean Coulthard, who is pictured above presenting the petition to Cllr Marsh, with the other protestors.
