HALF a dozen members of the Mid Devon Pony Club went up to Sparkford on Sunday for the Cotley PC's annual triathlon and returned with a number of prizes. Their swim training has gone well this winter with improvements in their personal bests. The nine years and under class had 60 entries and was split into three sections; Charly Mould did brilliantly to finish sixth in her division in her first ever competition. In spite of having to change guns half way through her detail she had the third best shoot and then finished third in the swim. She helped her team to finish in third place. In the junior girls, Emily Tudball showed lots of promise, finishing 11th in a class of 30, improving her personal best swim by an amazing 11 metres. Junior boys Richard and John Malseed both improved their best swims with John having the fourth fastest run. Their team finished in fourth place. In the mixed novice senior class, Will Leech also had fourth place run, while Katy Malseed added another six metres to her personal best swim. Their team came third. l Members of Mid Devon Pony Club who took part at Sparkford with their rosettes.
