MID Devon Hunt Pony Club tetrathletes had their final outing of the year at the Spooners Tri at Kelly College and finished with another hatful of personal bests.
Competing in the 'mini mini' class, the boys' team of Rhys Aven, Henry Ridgers and Ben Watson finished just outside the rosettes with Rhys and Ben shooting personal best's as did Henry and Ben for the swimming phase.
The girls team of Lily Earp, Lauren Northway, Camilla Ridgers and newcomer Ellie Guscott put in some fine performances with Lauren shooting a personal best score with five bulls on one of her targets and Camilla having a pb time for the run.
Spooners ran a biathlon class for six and seven year-olds and Jasmine Aven and Maddie Earp both showed lots of promise for the future.
Jasmine put in a fine run to finish just outside the places.
In the parents 'fun' class, Mid Devon finished in third place. The team of James Aven, Clare McDonald and Kathryn Northway were all competing at this level for the first time. James' rampaging run saw him finish in fourth place individually.
