I WONDER how many folk have been to the new police station only to be met by a closed door with words 'by appointment only'.

Admittedly, there is a telephone which allows you to speak to a person, but that is not quite the same.

I realise that we are in a time of cuts, but can someone tell me how or when the public at large can report a loss of keys etc? Also, if you find keys, money etc, to whom do you give them?

Perhaps Tavistock Town Council may be able to put forward a suggestion so that everyone is aware of the procedure.
