POLICE are appealing for information after an assault involving three offenders on New Year?s Eve in Tavistock which left a young man with a fractured nose and eye socket.
The incident happened in Garden Lane, which is behind Tavistock Bus Station and leads up to Russell Street, between 11pm and midnight.
Police said the three attackers were described as 25 to 30 years of age and two were wearing boots and baseball caps.
One spoke with a croaky voice, one was wearing a blue and black Puffa jacket and one was wearing training shoes.
