POLICE are investigating an unusual collision that took place at 5.50pm on Sunday.
A small red Citroen car was approaching the junction of Canal Road intending to turn left into Plymouth Road, Tavistock.
A small trials-type motorcycle turned into Canal Road and was in collision with the Citroen.
The rider actually struck the windscreen on the car with his helmet and also lost a shoe.
He then got back on his motorcycle and rode off.
A family, which included a four-month old baby, was left in a distressed state in the car with the shattered windscreen.
