POLICE are asking people to be aware after reports of a male acting suspiciously in the Callington area.
Officers believe three incidents since November 22 all involved the same man in his late teens or early twenties, of slim build, with short blond hair and wearing a grey, waterproof hoody with squares all over it.
This man appeared in the garden of Longfield Close at 3pm on November 22. He looked in the front and back gardens and then rang the door bell and said he was looking for his terrier dog.
The occupant said he had not seen it and when he asked for a contact number, the man said there was no need as there was a sign in Tesco with all the details. Further investigation discovered that there was no sign or any other information at Tesco about the lost dog.
On November 28, the same male, this time wearing a bright blue hoody with writing on the back, tried the back door of the same house. When tackled he gave the same story about the dog.
Police also believe that the same person stole a wallet from the Moonsfield area on November 26.
Anyone with information should call Callington police on the 101 number.
