CALLINGTON police are appealing for information after the occupant/s of a vehicle made off following a collision with a telegraph pole near Albaston on February 3. The incident occurred at around 1am on the Albaston to Calstock Road and the collision brought down the electrical cables. The car was extensively damaged. The driver and any other occupants fled the scene and police are asking people who have information to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or the police switchboard number 08452 777444. l BURGLARS made off with a purse containing £30 in cash and cards after smashing a rear window at a property in Callington on February 3.
