Police have confirmed the arrest of a man in his 50s in the Tavistock area for alleged grooming of an underage girl online.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child. He has been released on conditional police bail.”
