A FENCE was smashed by a group of youths at Pixon Lane, Tavistock in the early hours of last Friday morning (October 14).

Police are appealing to anyone who might have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to come forward.

About 40ft of slatted wooden fence was damaged, next to Pixon Villas.

PC Dave Pickles of Tavistock Police said: 'We understand there was a group of people, both girls and boys, and one with the name Ian.

'CCTV is being looked at but we would like people to come forward with information.'
