POLICE are appealing for information about a burglary at Russell Close, Gunnislake, where a number of domestic appliances and other property valued at £1,500 were stolen. The crime occurred between January 21 and 31. Items stolen included a television, DVD player, CD player, vacuum cleaner, fridge, microwave, mobile phone, washing machine, keys and nine china dolls. Police want help with a number of other crimes, including the theft of two electric fencing control boxes which were stolen from Fullaford Road, Callington, between 3pm on February 2 and 9am on February 3. The crime number is BN/07/45. An insecure garden shed at Dingle Close, Venterdon, Stoke Climsland, was entered between 11pm on January 24 and 8am on January 25 and six petrol cans —two green 20-litre Jerry cans, two red 10-litre Jerry cans and two yellow 10-litre Jerry cans — were stolen valued at £130. The crime number is BN/07/52. Two youths wearing hoodies were seen running from the scene of a crime at the Callington Heritage Centre in Liskeard Road on the evening of February 1. The venue was being used for band practice and a musical instrument holder, valued at £200, was stolen. The property was later recovered. The crime reference number is BN/07/54. The front offside window of a red Peugeot parked at Under Road, Gunnislake, was smashed between 8pm on February 3 and 9am the following day. A JVC CD player worth £150 was stolen. Officers believe this incident is connected with one in Calstock Road, Gunnislake, around the same time where a window of a black Citroen was smashed.
