POLICE?are appealing for information after a woman was bitten on the hand and arms by a dog in the Whiterocks area of St?Ann's Chapel recently.
Between 4.30pm and 5pm on January 15, a female was walking her dog in the area when three dogs ran towards her.
A black greyhound attempted to attack the female's dog and bit the female four times on the hand and arm while she tried to rescue her dog. The lady had to attend hospital where she received surgery in order to clean the bites and close them.
The male with the greyhound is described as white, aged between 50 and 55 with short brown, greying hair. He was wearing a checked shirt.
The dog that attacked the female was a thickset greyhound, the other two dogs were rough coat Jack Russells. The male got into a mustard-coloured hatchback vehicle with dog cages in the back and was walking with another woman.
Anyone who may recognise the description of this man or has any information regarding this incident should contact police quoting the crime number BN/14/28.
l Police also want information about an incident during the weekend of January 17 to 19 when a brick was thrown through the ground floor double-glazed window of a property in Broadmead, Callington.
Anyone with any knowledge of this incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference number BN/14/35.
l Police are trying to identify two people who were walking their dogs in the area of CPL Distribution at Kelly Bray around 4.15pm to 4.45pm on December 30.
A white vehicle was outside CPL Distribution, which police are also trying to identify. It was a white Citroen-type van with a roof rack. Anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting the crime reference BN/13/818.
