THE Lamerton Point to Point will be held at Kilworthy, Tavistock, on Sunday, March 21. Kilworthy is on the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road and the course will be clearly signposted.
The course is in an excellent condition after several jumps have recently been renewed and refurbished. Six races are scheduled for the day with the first starting at 1pm.
Many of the West Country's leading point to point owners are entered and as last years racing produced exciting and thrilling finishes we are hoping for a repeat performance this year.
The open race with 30 horses entered should be hotly contested and champion Westcountry jockey Polly Gundry, who last weekend reached a record breaking 300 winners, also has several horses entered.
