Bere Alston Parish Hall was packed with people enjoying a Bats (Bere Alston Trekkers) Big Breakfast — the kitchen ran out of food and had to send out for more supplies.

The event raised £872.33 with all proceeds going to Help for Heroes.

Bats expressed thanks to all who donated cakes, raffle prizes and breakfast items, including Somerfield,, John Brown Stores, and Bere Ferrers Parish Council.

Dotty Allan, club chair, also thanked all members for their donations, time, help, and cooking skills to make the event such a success.
