Plenty to do at the Nest’s fete

WELL-groomed animals and painted faces will be on show at the Elephant's Nest's annual summer fete this month.

The event, on June 29, will raise much needed funds for the Elephant's Nest Cricket Club and for Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School. Activities on the day will include a family fun dog show, a falconry display, ferret racing, various stalls and sideshows, a bar and barbecue and a bouncy castle.

The fete, at the Elephant's Nest cricket ground in Horndon, will start at 1pm.
