TAVISTOCK Cricket Club held the 20/20 championship day at the Ring.  The competition sponsored by Kaminski Rental and Holiday Properties saw Calstock CC triumph.

Results: Ordulph Arms beat Okehampton Mark Park Larkers; Lydford beat Sticklepath; Lifton beat Ordulph Arms; Calstock beat Sticklepath; Lifton beat Okehampton MPL; Calstock beat Lydford.

The final saw Calstock narrowly beat Lifton and now go on to join Whitchurch, Yelverton, Bridestowe, Lewdown and Tavistock in the premiership round at the Ring on Sunday, July 11.

The president of Tavistock CC, Stuart Munday, said: 'The club would like to thank the tea ladies and bar staff, the MC Barry Milligan and the umpires in helping to make it an enjoyable day for everyone involved.'
