MY wife, 9 month old baby Emma and I were returning from our first family holiday in Cornwall on Saturday September 24 and we stopped , as you do, for the all important baby feed. We chose Finch Foundry, a National Trust property at Sticklepath just outside Okehampton. On loading back into the car, I made the classic stupid mistake and placed the camera on top of the car. Two miles down the road and on the A30 heading home, I remembered the camera. We returned to Finch Foundary and carried out a thorough search, including a search of the road verge/hedge between Sticklepath and Okehampton. Unfortunately we failed to find the camera. We reported the loss to the Police Station at Okehampton but as you may appreciate we are desperate to recover the camera. If you can include this plea in your newspaper for the safe return of the Fuji digital camera (in a black nylon case when lost) and most importantly, the camera?s memory card, it would be greatly appreciated. There are many photographs of Emma on the memory card including her initial crawling, so these are particularly cherished records. Although we live in Shropshire, I am willing to collect the camera from wherever. Many thanks. Ian Bartlett Tythe Barn House Kinton Nescliffe Shrewsbury
