ON Sunday April 27 more than 200 members of the Scout and Guide Movement set off for their annual St George?s Day Parade through Tavistock. The weather was kind, no rain until after we had entered the church.
However, I cannot say the same for the dog owner who allowed their dog to leave a very large pile of ?dog mess? on the entrance path to Tavistock Parish Church.
As a dog owner myself, I know that clearing up after my pet is not the most pleasant of things that I have to do, but it was extremely unpleasant for the two Cub Scouts who ended up with their shoes covered in dog mess.
If you are not prepared to clean up after your dog please do not take it into public places.
