OKEHAMPTON Primary School is asking for anyone with Morrisons Let's Grow vouchers to donate them to the school.

Now in its fifth year, the Let's Grow programme aims to help schools capture the imagination of the nation's children by inspiring them to grow their own fruit and vegetables in school grounds.

Shoppers at Morrisons receive a voucher for every £10 spent in store and donate them to a local participating school. The school then exchanges those vouchers for a range of great gardening equipment on offer.

The primary is looking to buy more gardening equipment to help set up a new gardening club in the autumn term to encourage youngsters to get into gardening and growing their own produce.

In the past they have used vouchers to purchase apple trees, raspberry bushes and children's gardening equipment.

You can send your vouchers to the school via post to Okehampton Primary School, Glendale Road, Okehampton, EX20 1JB.
