DOG fouling is a problem caused by lazy and thoughtless people. It is annoying to see it on our footpaths but worse still to see it on a daily basis on a school playing field.
St Peter's schoolchildren are the victims of one such lazy dog owner. Since the start of this term, every day the mealtime assistants have to walk the field to remove no fewer than five dollops of dog faeces.
We do this to protect the children in our care from possible contact with organisms that can cause blindness. If anyone knows who this persistent offender is please inform Devon County Council or the school.
