WHAT has happened to Tavistock? Having come back to live in my beloved Devon after 25 years away I find myself increasingly depressed by the state of Tavistock.           

The Meadows used to be a wonderful place but now the dog mess and the litter are spoiling it for many people.

Having said that, I'm not surprised that the dog bins and litter bins aren't used as they are covered in green slime!

Come on Tavistock Council — can't they be cleaned once in a while?

Added to this we now have the funfair which has managed to churn up a fair chunk of the grass!

We are told that the recession doesn't seem to have affected Tavistock so please, can it be cleaned up?
