Tavistock residents are being offered the opportunity to help create a permanent part of the town?s rich cultural heritage. Organisers of a community project to create a giant mosaic map of the town to be displayed in the pannier market say they are still on the lookout for helpers. Communities in Action member and project supporter Suzanne Rushforth said: ?You do not need to be very artistic to take part. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a great chance for community groups to make their mark.? For those interested in participating, a meeting is taking place on June 8 at 7.30pm in the Molly Owen Centre for groups and individuals.
