LOOKING to stock up on early bloomers? 

Kelly House, near Lifton, will be hosting their first plant fair on the weekend of September 7 and 8 between 10am and 4pm, in support of Devon Air Ambulance. 

Selected local nurseries will be on site, displaying and selling many plants, bulbs and seeds to help gardeners create plenty of spring and early summer colour. 

In addition, Pippa Quelch will be hosting her Sunday morning Potting Shed radio broadcast live from the house to all BBC Radio Devon listeners. 

And Brigit Strawbridge, star of TV's 'It's Not Easy being Green', will be giving a talk on the numerous ways to invite bees and other pollinators to visit your own gardens. 

The #DevonHour Pop-Up Gallery, arranged entirely through twitter, will be hosted within the house. 

It will display works for sale by local artists and sculptors, and the tea room will be producing refreshments and fresh cakes throughout the event.

Entry is only £1, going direct to Devon Air Ambulance.
