PLENTY of plants are promised at an annual sale taking place later this month. St Petrock's Church in Clannaborough will be holding its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 17 in Copplestone School Hall from 2pm. The annual plant sale was established more than 20 years ago and attracts visitors from both near and far. There will be a huge selection of plants on offer, including camellias, strongly scented saracocca and tall, exotic echiums. A selection of plants for patios and conservatories will also be on sale. Last year, close to £1,400 was raised to support the small and ancient parish church situated in a farmyard on the Two Moors Way. There has been a church at this site since the 13th century.
