Tavistock Ladies AFC thrashed Plainmoor at Langsford Park on Sunday, maintaining their unbeaten record against them this season.
Tavistock were on the offensive from the start as striker Sarah Blowey rapidly fired the first goals of her double hat-trick. Fellow striker Donna Weeks maintained her outstanding delivery to gain herself another hat-trick.
Strong on the wing, recent newcomer Kirsty Jones created many a goal opportunity for her colleagues, surging up the pitch and delivering many perfect crosses, taking the opportunity to score one herself.
Beth Waymouth had a fantastic game and worked the wing with great resilience, and a strong cross from Gemma Cramp led to another goal for Blowey.
Youngest player and recently signed Robyn Hammond made her mark in the Tavistock team, battling hard in the mid-field alongside fervent team mate Ali Hurley; Hammond's perseverance paid off, gaining the first goal in the second half.
Despite the precarious weather and pitch conditions the Tavistock Ladies played a first class game, maintaining a strong defence throughout led by Tina Parker, and supported by Nicky Crocker, Jo Webber and Gemma Cramp, with yet another outstanding performance from goalkeeper Zoe Stock.
l Tavistock's next game is away to Totnes and Dartington, kick-off 2pm on Sunday.
