A NUMBER of residents in West Devon are set to get a lot richer — bagging a share of a £3-million prize pot — after the People’s Postcode Lottery announced a winning postcode sector in the borough.

Postcode sector PL20 7, which covers areas such as Horrabridge, Crapstone, Yelverton, Bellever, Postbridge, Princetown and Two Bridges, was announced on Tuesday as the winner of the monthly Postcode Millions prize pot.

Ticket holders will find out on Saturday, March 2 just how much they have won when they get a special letter revealing their prize.

The full winning postcode will also be announced on the day and players that match that will be taking home the largest share of the £3-million prize.

People’s postcode Lottery ambassadors Danyl Johnson and Matt Johnson will also be visiting the area to knock on doors and tell some of the winners how much they’ve won in person.

Matt Johnson said: ‘Knocking on people’s doors and delighting them with news of their lottery win is the most incredible feeling. I’m really looking forward to another fantastic Postcode Millions. Congratulations to all the players of People’s Postcode Lottery across West Devon.’

With a minimum of 32% of every ticket going to charity, players have raised over £393-million for more than 5,500 charities to date.

The Postcode Millions draw will be held on behalf of Postcode Innovation Trust, which supports charities and social enterprises across Great Britain.
