BRENTOR held its third 'summer camp' at the home of Christopher and Sally Pancheri recently.

Thirteen families from Mary Tavy and Brentor came together to share friendship, meals and a host of games and activities.

The group was fortunate to be sponsored by Ambrosia who generously supplied delicious custard for the fruit crumbles.

The theme of this year's camp was pirates and over the weekend, children and their parents constructed a child sized pirate ship resplendent with tie-dyed sails and voluptuous papier mache figure head!

It will be on display at the forthcoming Brentor Village Show in September, when the children hope visitors will help to choose a name for their pirate boat.

The children also have their own class at the show and spent a morning designing and making a wide variety of colourful tents from recycled materials to exhibit.
