A TAVISTOCK runner entertained guests at a recent 'Pink Night' raising money and awareness for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Ben Neale held the charity night at the Elephant's Nest Inn on the twelfth night of Christmas.
The evening kicked off with a pink themed quiz, in which 15 teams battled to be crowned champions.
Landlords of the pub, Hugh and Denise Cook, kindly provided a beef bourguignon for the evening and special pink puddings with all the proceeds from the puddings going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
During the evening there was also a prize draw with kind donations from Norman Price Wines, Dartmoor Brewery, St Austell Brewery and West Devon falconer David Buncle donated half a days hawking.
The event was rounded off with an excellent acoustic set of music from Stacked.
It was deemed a fantastic event and £705.40 was raised which will go towards Ben's marathon fund.
Thanks were expressed to everyone who bought draw tickets and who came along to support the cause and donated.
