Pinhoe U14s 6 Okehampton Argyle U14s 2 Both teams started well, however Pinhoe seemed to have the upper hand when Argyle keeper Haydn Bond came out to make a save which deflected to a Pinhoe player before Tom Bullingham saved off the line. Argyle upped the pace and Bradley made a great run but was closed down by the Pinhoe defence. However, it was Pinhoe scored first in a goalmouth scramble. Argyle was not so lucky when the ball went down the other end and Pinhoe scrambled the ball off the line. Bradley put a good ball through to Harry who hit the ball wide. Argyle forced a corner that Andy took brilliantly for the keeper to just turn it into his own goal. Argyle were back in the game and after some excellent battling in midfield Brad got hold of the ball, made a lovely turn and shot for a superb goal. Pinhoe came out after the break determined and were soon rewarded with a goal. Argyle played some good football and had their chances but the Pinhoe defence were too strong. Argyle looked tired and it did not take long for Pinhoe to take advantage and score four goals in quick succession in near identical circumstances.
