THERE is nothing quite so summery as a summer ball, and that is exactly what will be on offer in Okehampton this August.

The Pink Ladies of Okehampton are organising a fabulous Pimms and Petals Ball on Friday August 12 to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.

The ball will take place at the Okehampton Show Ground off Holsworthy Road the day after this year's show.

Tickets are £35 each with ten to a table, and are selling fast.

The price includes a drink on arrival, with four wonderful tasty courses of delicious food to follow, plus live music and a disco. A courtesy mini bus will be available locally, so there is no need to worry about drinking and driving.

One lucky ticket holder will also win a bottle of champagne
