TAVISTOCK Cricket Club recently held a full annual dinner at the Ordulph Arms with test umpire David Shepherd as the guest speaker. During the evening, president Stuart Munday presented chairman John Perkin with an inscribed picture of the Ring, commemorating his five years as club chairman, from which he is now standing down. During his chairmanship he has overseen a number of projects, from new windows, shutters, flix pitch and mobile nets etc. This coming season?s projects include permanent nets for use by the large number of colts as well as mobile covers, all of this and just maybe a return to the Devon Premier league at the end of the season.
