IN the coming weeks, Dartmoor will be the place to be for those who like photography. Some of the finest contemporary photographs taken by talented local photographers will be on display in a special exhibition entitled ?The Four Seasons of Dartmoor? to be held at Princetown?s High Moorland Visitor Centre from today (Thursday) to March 5. Throughout February, Dartmoor Tourist Association will be running its Dartmoor In Focus photographic competition, with prizes of dinner, bed and breakfast for two, dinner for two and cream teas for two. With its spectacular landscapes, wealth of wildlife, rich archaeological remains and captivating industrial heritage, Dartmoor never fails to inspire photographers. Shortlisted photos will be posted on the Dartmoor Tourist Association website http://www.discoverdartmoor.com">www.discoverdartmoor.com for visitors to judge. Entry forms can be obtained from the DTA office by phoning 01822 890567 or emailing via the website.
