A TRAVELLING portfolio of photography from across the South West arrived in Okehampton this week. On Monday January 7, at their first meeting of the New Year, Okehampton Camera Club were treated to a selection of images from the Western Circuit Photographic Federation. The WCPF's travelling slide portfolio gave members of the camera club the opportunity to scrutinise and comment on a wide variety of images taken by fellow photographers from across the South West. Club spokesman, Tracey Norman, said: 'The travelling portfolio was a good way to see a range of styles and subjects. 'It inspired lively and interesting discussions and was a very useful evening for anyone considering photography as a hobby.' The camera club meets every other Monday at 7.30pm in the Conservative Club, Kempley Road, Okehampton. It is made up of photographers of all ages and abilities with new members always made very welcome.
