A HORRABRIDGE photographer is in the frame to win a national competition after his holiday photograph was shortlisted from hundreds of entries.
Grahame Corker entered a national travel photography competition in which participants were asked to provide a photograph that reflected local cultures and areas of outstanding beauty.
If Grahame's picture, of the River Walkham, is successful it will feature in a charity calendar raising funds for The Travel Foundation, an independent UK charity helping the outbound travel industry manage tourism more sustainably.
Grahame said: 'Myself and many other tourists walk, ride horses and mountain bikes along this stretch of the River Walkham which changes to offer a variety of seasonal scenes.'
Graham's picture shows the river in spate.
If successful, Grahame will also be in with a chance of winning a holiday to Cyprus and visiting a Travel Foundation project.
Trevor Davis, Director of Retail Distribution with The Co-operative Travel said one of its aims was to support sustainable tourism that helped protect tourist sites and Grahame's photograph was a great example of that.
