MATT Edwards and Kieran Rookes of Tavistock Swimming Club travelled to Gloucester to compete in the ASA Western Counties sprint competition.
Kieran achieved two excellent personal best times in the 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle in his 14 years age group - coming first in his favourite event, the breaststroke.
He was ninth overall in the FINA points awards. Club captain Matt finished first in butterfly and freestyle, gaining personal best times in all five strokes, to finish in third place overall.
