FIRE crews were called to a road traffic collision on the A3124 at North Tawton this morning (Monday), with reports of someone trapped in a vehicle.

Crews from Okehampton as well as police and ambulance personnel attended the road traffic collision involving one vehicle at 7.45am between Oaklands Farm and Itton Cross.

One person was still within the vehicle and was believed to be medically trapped. The crews got to work to stabilise the vehicle and make the scene safe and the casualty was left in the hands of on scene ambulance crews.
