PARISHIONERS at the annual Drewsteignton Parish Church meeting paid tribute to retiring churchwardens Margaret Vile and Michael Page for their years of hard work and commitment to the church.
Mr Page and his wife are leaving the area and a vote of thanks was made to Mrs Page for her catering hospitality over the years.
Margaret Vile was given the honorary title Churchwarden Emeritus at the meeting, which welcomed new churchwardens Harriet Every and Tom Martineau.
