THE Rev Mike Davies, senior pastor at the Inspiration Church in Okehampton, is this week attending a major international gathering in Johannesburg, South Africa. The International Apostolic Council of church leaders are meeting in South Africa. He was invited to attend one of the council?s meetings last year, in Kenya, mainly due to his links with Christian projects in that country. Although he will only be attending the South Africa conference as an ?official observer?, Mr Davies said he would be flying the flag for Okehampton at this meeting of world leaders. Mr Davies has also been booked to speak at ?The Discipling Nations? conference in Folkestone, Kent, at the end of October. This is a European conference and attendees are expected from all over the continent.
