WEST Devon's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is seeking a representative from the local business community to join them in developing and implementing a strategy covering all aspects of living, working and doing business in the borough. The LSP is made up of representatives from all sectors of the local community, who meet on a quarterly basis to build the strategy, a key priority of which is to develop the local economy. They are keen to find someone with strong business experience to represent the interests of local businesses and who can bring their viewpoint and critical mind to all aspects of the LSP's work. Cllr James McInnes, chair of the LSP and leader of the council, said: 'It's very important we get the views of local business. We need someone who can take a strategic view of the business community in West Devon and help the partnership take the necessary actions to improve the West Devon economy.'
