IN response to the letter from the lady in Tavistock (October 17) about the parking of vans outside her house, we have exactly the same problem.

Our house lies low from the road and when the van is parked outside our house it blocks the light and the view from our front window.

The house from where the van is from has a drive and why do they not park outside their own house?

Oh, sorry, that would block the light and spoil the view from their window!

The way of the world I am afraid.
