IN my time I have written quite a few letters concerning Burrator Reservoir be it concerning walkers, cyclists, parking etc.

The latest furore regarding parking of cars could quite easily be avoided if car owners parked responsibly and observed the signs approaching the dam for parking one side of the road, not both sides, and utilising the various designated parking areas at the quarry, Norsworthy  Bridge and the arboretum.

At the week-end and certain times in the year eg Boxing Day and hunt meets, common sense alone should tell you not to block access to Sheepstor village.

As to the suggestion to have toilets, kiosk etc that is another matter.

What exactly is a kiosk?

If it is yet another attempt to commercialise the area with tea rooms or what have you then that is the last thing we need in this delightful rural setting.
