A WEST Devon author is pleased to be releasing his book of short stories in paperback version this month.

Tavistock writer Ted Sherrell's tenth book, Looking Towards the Tamar, a collection of short stories set around the Tamar and West Devon, is already available in hardback but will be available in paperback form later this month.

The stories are loosely based on Mr Sherrell's real life experiences as a resident and as a councillor on both Tavistock Town Council and West Devon Borough Council.

The paperback book will be on sale for £8.95.
