THE first production of the newly formed NADS (Northlew Amateur Dramatic Society) has caught the public's imagination — tickets sold out in 72 hours. The society is to perform a panto, 'Snow White and a number of dwarves' or 'What a to-do in Northlew', on Friday and Saturday February 22 and 23. Director Elaine Peak said: 'We have had to give in to the demand for tickets and have therefore decided to include a matinee performance on the Saturday afternoon. There will be a total of 130 tickets available for this extra performance but that will be it — until we hear from Sir Cameron Mackintosh as to when a theatre becomes available in the West End . . .
