PUPILS from four primary schools took part in an orienteering day at Tavistock College.

Around 70 Year 5 and 6 pupils from Lamerton, Mary Tavy and Brentor, Gulworthy and Milton Abbot competed in the event, which was the finale to two weeks? work at the schools. An Active Sport grant had been applied for for coaching.

The children were paired up with partners they did not know from other schools and scored points for the number of controls they found as they ran around map reading for an hour.
