NORTHLEW gave two more players their debuts and although thrown in the deep end they did not let the side down.
Northlew started brightly enough but again their failure in front of goal let them down. Even after going one down to a well taken header, they still had chances to take the lead.
Exmouth scored three more goals in quick succession from a mixture of clinical finishing and poor defending.
Although Northlew's defence were stretched there was still enough cover to deal with the threat. Exmouth were passing the ball well and Northlew's only other chance fell to Tim Hussey who missed the target from close in.
In the second half Northlew had to change their defensive formation due to an injury, which seemed to upset their balance going forward. Although they kept Exmouth out, the away side's emphasis was on defence, only attacking with their two dangerous strikers with not much support from their midfield.
Northlew kept trying to press but never really extended the Exmouth keeper.
