A TENDER for works to the outside of the Town Hall was granted at a meeting of Okehampton Town Council's property committee last week.

Repairs to eves, guttering and other related improvements takes place from September 21.

Scaffolding will be erected on Market Street side. Town clerk Don Bent said the works will take a month and be in three stages in order to 'minimise disruption to the public.'

Work on installing disabled toilets in the Town Hall is set to start soon, which members of the property committee were informed of last week by the town clerk.
