RESIDENTS of Belstone will be the latest to receive regular multi-agency outreach surgeries, delivered by West Devon Borough Council's West Devon Connect team.

The Outreach surgeries are events which bring together many different agencies and organisations into a local venue, taking public services into the borough's more rural communities.

The first surgery in Belstone will take place on Thursday March 12, from 10am to noon in the village hall, and South West Water, Devon Care and Repair, Devon Link, Okehampton Age Concern, UK Digital Help Scheme and the local police officer will be on hand to provide help and advice.

Local borough Cllr Ken Williams said: 'It is very pleasing that another extremely useful facility is being made available to the village community.'

Future dates for the Belstone surgeries are June 11, September 10 and December 10, all from 10am to noon in the village hall.
