AFTER NINE years on the Princetown Pre-School Committee, Lindsey and Belinda have finally been able to hand over to a new chair and treasurer.
We leave it in the very safe and knowledgeable hands of the excellent staff — Sue, Paula, Helen and Sam. We owe them a big thank you for sticking with us through some very tough financial times. It's also thanks to them that the pre-school has grown to its present number of 20 children on the register.
We'd also like to sincerely thank the parents who have supported the pre-school over the years, Barbara and the residents of Royal Court, Princetown Firefighters, Princetown Cubs and Scouts, the local businesses and residents of Princetown who have helped us raise £ 15,233.43 between 1999 and 2008. Also, thank you to Bob Law who took the time each year to check our accounts.
And last but definitely not least a huge thank you to David Swales and members of the church who have been very supportive through this time.
We apologise to anyone we may have forgotten but a big thank you to one and all and best of luck to the pre-school for the future.
